Rainbow Childcare is more than a day nursery – their play based learning approach and dedicated team offers a happy and nurturing environment for primary school-aged children after school and during the holidays too! So from babyhood up to the age of 11, you can trust Rainbow to care for your children, knowing the team will ensure learning is fun, child centered and inspires the naturally curious, explorative minds of each individual.
After School & Holiday Clubs
Rainbow Childcare offers an After School & Holiday Club operating from the Hockey Club, Footes Lane. Managed by the lovely Nikki Anderson, they offer a fun, safe environment for children between the ages of 4-11 after school until 6pm Monday to Friday. Healthy snacks and meals are included and children can enjoy sports, arts and crafts, cooking, fun and games, movie nights, talent shows, days out and much more. Nikki and her team also provide homework supervision and after-school pick ups and cover all school holidays.
They have a lot of exciting things coming up over Easter holidays – mini medics (children’s first aid), street dancing, football masterclass and chocolate making are just a few of the many activities they have going on.
Rainbow has been a wonderful place for our daughter to spend her day times in. It really feels like a second home to her, and to us, and we especially like how much it feels like a family. As a teacher myself, I was attracted to the idea of innovative and research based nursery and preschool care and education, especially in Guernsey. What the staff do at rainbow has given us so many ideas of things to try at home and this enables our daughter to make such lovely connections between both parts of her life. It takes a lot, emotionally, as a parent to trust a group of people to look after, care for and teach your child for you at times when you are unable to, for whatever reason. We trust in Rainbow staff, and wholeheartedly believe in their ethos.
