Islandmums Limited is a Guernsey registered company number 53816, whose registered office is at PO Box 142, The Beehive, Rohais, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 3HT ) and manages the distribution and marketing of the Islandmums Family Card.

Islandmums Ltd is registered with the Guernsey Data Protection Commissioner.

To provide a variety of our products and services we collect certain personal information which we outline below and we treat protection of this personal data very seriously.

By becoming an Islandmums Family cardholder or signing up for one of our free information products such as the What’s on Guides, you accept our Privacy Statement.

Personal Information Collected

If you purchased the card from our website, we collect the following information from you: First and Last name, Address, Phone number and Email Address. .

If you have purchased our Card physically from one of our participating distributors, we collect the same personal details as above except your address as we don’t need to deliver the card to you.

If you sign-up to receive our free What’s on Guides, we only collect your Name and Email Address to be able to deliver the guides via email.

We use a word-class third party payment processing system (PayPal) and so don’t store any payment details such as credit and debit card details or PayPal accounts and passwords you may have used.

Use of data

We collect the data to be able to provide Islandmums Products and Services to you in the most satisfactory way! We only collect your personal address when we either need to deliver the card to you or deliver a certain prize certificate or gift if you have signed up to participating in one. We collect your phone number in case we need to verify your address or other application details or be able to communicate with you with regards to winning a competition or prize draw. We collect your email to be able to deliver regular, timely and relevant information on offers, promotions and other content from Islandmums Ltd that we deem necessary via email. And of course we need your name so we can address you in our emails and be able to verify you as a customer during certain promotions.

Right of access

If you have any questions or concerns, under section 7 & of the Guernsey data protection Law (2001) you have the Right of Access to be given a copy of the personal data we have on file for you. Please get in touch with us on

Right of rectification or erasure

Under section 14 of the Data protection Law you have the right for data to be corrected, if inaccurate or erased. We can erase your address and mobile number from our records if you wish after we have delivered the card to you. If you do not wish to receive any further email communication from us with updates on new offers and guides, that’s also fine – our website contains most up-to-date information that you can refer to. Email us on and let us know what data you would like us to delete.

Any general email correspondence you receive from Islandmums Ltd, will also contain an “unsubscribe” feature allowing you to opt-out of receiving further emails.

Third party advertising and data access

We don’t allow any paid third party advertising on any of our channels hence any communication you receive from us is always linked to the provision of an offer or promotion to the Islandmums Family cardholders or provision of free content relevant to families on the Channel Islands.

We will never share your personal details with any third parties, this information will be used only to keep you updated and help you get the most from your card.


We take our data security responsibilities seriously and employ a variety of measures to protect our customer data. This includes staff training and awareness and we review our measures regularly.

Accurate, complete and up-to-date

To make sure you get the right information and services from Islandmums Limited, we need to hold accurate and up-to-date information on you. If your name and/or email address changes, please notify us via and we will be able to update it immediately. We will check and reconfirm your delivery address with you or ask you to submit a new one at the time the Islandmums Family Cards are due for renewal in the end of each year.
