Cretaceous Park Timewarp

Step into the Timewarp inspired by Jurassic Park and all things dinosaur! It’s 25 years since the first Jurassic Park film was released and Guernsey Museums have taken this opportunity to set their Timewarp clock to the Cretaceous Period.

If you haven’t been to the Museum before, the Timewarp is a small room located at Guernsey Museum in Candie Gardens. It is part of the Discovery Room (the hands-on area of the Museum, complete with family activities, games and dressing up). This year the Jurassic Timewarp features a little laboratory for creating dinosaurs(!), a small Jeep to sit in and a very impressive model velociraptor handmade by Mark Cook and his wife Amanda. You can also see some dinosaur models on display, learn about extinct animals and find out why we don’t find dino bones in Guernsey. They’re also delighted to have on temporary display a lifesize model of a dodo.

There is no extra charge for visiting the Timewarp: it is part of the Museum and normal admission and opening hours apply.
