‘The Greatest Showmen’ is due to be staged in a heated 1,500-seat Big Top, with theatre-standard lighting and sound.
We are told it will feature international stars from Colombia, Cuba, Kenya, France, Portugal and the UK. There will be aerial acts, including high-wire walkers, The Gerlings, whose act won medals at the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival and the Wujiao International Circus Festival in 2017.
One highlight due to be visiting the island is the ‘Double Wheel of Death’, which has two rotating arms with steel mesh pods at either end, containing acrobats.
There will be a juggling act, BMX riders and The Cuban Flyers will be attempting a triple somersault, as well as many other acts.
You will find it opposite the track, at Victoria Avenue in St Sampsons, between the 14th and 20th May 2018. There will be one performance on Monday, two shows every day from Tuesday to Friday, three shows on Saturday, and two on Sunday.
Adult tickets cost between £14 to £36 depending on the seats you choose, with lower concession prices. A family ticket, for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children, costs £70.

Walkers take about an hour, but there’s no pressure to finish in a certain time. It’s all about uniting in the fight against cancer.
10k (or just over 6 miles) may sound a little daunting but it is an achievable challenge for anyone with a bit of training. Jogging 10k takes about an hour, but Race for Life is non-competitive, so you can take as long as you like.
