FRIDAY

WEATHER
Well all week has been very much the same in terms of calmness and cloud, with each day promising a few bright spells here and there, but it being a question of luck as to whether they actually materialise. This day is just a slightly more promising version of those days. The max temp probably 7C but just possibly sneaking up to 8C. The overnight minimum possibly as low as 3C with a ground frost.

SURF AND TIDE
Super clean 1-2 foot west-coast waves during the mid to late afternoon. Tides 2.1m low at 11:40am, 8.1m low at 5:40pm.

SATURDAY

WEATHER
Maybe some sunny spells in the morning, perhaps with some frost on the ground first thing. Probably becoming clodier later but staying dry, then milder overnight.

SURF AND TIDE
Glassy 1-2 foot west-coast waves early and late. Tides 8.5m high at 6am, 1.9m low at 12:20pm, 8.3m low at 6:20pm.

SUNDAY

WEATHER
A rather cloudy old day, with a bit more of an onshore breeze on north and west coasts. Head to the east or south coasts for the most pleasant outings. Temperatures should reach about 10C island-wide, but maybe even 11C in Town.

SURF AND TIDE
Slightly choppy 4 foot west-coast waves early and late. Tides 8.7m high at 6:30am, 1.8m low at 1pm.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY

Mostly cloudy and with a few drizzly showers. However, the majority of those showers are likely to be overnight into Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday afternoon, we will probably see some lengthy sunny spells. However, these will come with a rather fresh NW’ly wind, so Town, fermain and the south coast will certainly be the best place to enjoy that time.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY

High pressure will take charge again, but it will be a bit windier than the previous week, with a force 4-5 N’ly on Wednesday and a force 3-4 NE’ly on Thursday. Both days should be dry, with a mixture of cloud and sunny intervals. Temperatures should be bang on the climatological average, and this is how they will probably stay until the next cold snap at the end of this month.

The next forecast update will be on Saturday evening.
